Who is responsible for your data
KVSG S.A.C. (Videoscopía Industrial), RUC (Peruvian tax ID) 20506537143, registered at Calle José María Sert 159, Of. 201, San Borja, Lima, Perú, owns the quote request and complaints databases and is the controller of your personal data.
For anything related to your data, email info@videoscopiaindustrial.com, call or WhatsApp us on +51 996 28 99 47, or visit our office Monday to Friday.
What data we process
Only what you give us when you send the quote request form, plus a few technical details generated when you do:
| Data | How we get it | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| First and last name | You type it | Yes |
| Email address | You type it | Yes |
| Request type (service, purchase, rental, consultation) | You choose it | Yes |
| Phone, company, equipment of interest and message | You type it | No |
| Reference number, date, language and the page you wrote from | Generated on sending | — |
| Visit source (the campaign, ad or site that brought you) | Your browser, only if you allow it | No |
| Encrypted fingerprint of your IP address | Calculated on sending | — |
The IP fingerprint is an irreversible code (HMAC) used only to stop mass submissions from a single source. We do not store your IP address and cannot reconstruct it from that code.
If you file a claim or complaint in the Complaints Book, we also process the data its official format requires: name, identity document type and number, address, phone and email; your parent's or representative's if you are a minor; the product or service, the amount claimed, the details of your claim and what you are asking for. All of it is required by law except the amount; without it the claim counts as not filed.
Like any web server, our hosting provider logs technical details of each visit (IP address, browser, requested page) for security and operation, and keeps them for short periods. KVSG does not use those logs to identify visitors.
We do not ask for sensitive data (health, racial origin, political opinions, biometric data, etc.). Please do not include it in your message.
What we use it for
| Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry, preparing your quote and arranging the service or equipment delivery | Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and the pre-contractual steps you yourself request |
| Emailing you a confirmation that we received your request | Your consent |
| Knowing which campaign or channel brought your enquiry | Your separate, optional consent (see the Cookie policy) |
| Measuring in aggregate how the site is used (Microsoft Clarity), to improve it | Your separate, optional consent (see the Cookie policy) |
| Protecting the form against mass submissions and abuse | The security of the site |
| Meeting tax and accounting obligations if the quote becomes a sale or a service | Legal obligation |
| Filing and answering claims and complaints in the Complaints Book, and keeping proof | Legal obligation: Consumer Protection and Defence Code (Ley N.º 29571) and the Complaints Book Regulation (D.S. N.º 011-2011-PCM) |
We do not use your data to send newsletters or advertising, we make no automated decisions about you, and we do not build profiles. If we ever wanted to send you marketing communications, we would first ask for a separate consent, which you could refuse without any consequence.
If you would rather not give us your data
Without your name and an email address we cannot reply to your request in writing, which is why they are required. If you would rather not leave them in the form, message us on WhatsApp at +51 996 28 99 47 or call us directly.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or hand your data to third parties. To run the site we rely on the following providers, who process data on KVSG's behalf, only to deliver their service and under confidentiality and security obligations:
| Provider | Service | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosting and running the website and the form | United States |
| Neon (Databricks, Inc.) | Database where requests are stored | United States (Virginia) |
| Twilio SendGrid | Sending the notification and confirmation emails | United States |
| Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) | Analytics on how the site is used, only if you allow it | United States |
| Zoho Corporation | KVSG's business mailbox, where notifications arrive | United States |
| mate@work | Development, maintenance and technical support of the site; receives a copy of quote notifications to check they arrive (not complaints) | Canada |
Within KVSG, only the people who handle quotes and complaints can see your data. We send complaint sheets to INDECOPI when it requests them. Otherwise, we will disclose your data to public authorities only when a law or a court order requires it, to respond to judicial or administrative proceedings, or to defend KVSG's rights against a claim.
International transfers
As the table above shows, the providers that host the site, the database and email are outside Peru. When you send the form, your data is transferred to those countries solely for the purposes described in this policy. If you allow analytics, the browsing data Microsoft Clarity collects is also stored in the United States.
We choose providers that contractually commit to protecting data and apply internationally recognised security measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, access control and activity logging.
How long we keep it
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Quote requests | 24 months from sending; then deleted automatically |
| Complaints Book sheets and proof of our reply | 2 years from filing, as the Regulation requires; then deleted automatically, unless still needed in proceedings before INDECOPI |
| Data of clients we go on to contract with | For the length of the business relationship and then for the periods required by tax and accounting law |
| Visit source stored in your browser | 90 days, or until you withdraw permission |
| Microsoft Clarity recordings and statistics | Up to 13 months on Microsoft's servers (session recordings, 30 days) |
| Hosting provider's technical logs | The short periods set by the provider for security |
If you exercise your right to erasure before the period ends, we delete your data as soon as we handle the request, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep part of it.
How we protect it
- All traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS with HSTS).
- The database cannot be reached from the public site and requires credentials; access is limited to the people who need it.
- Keys to external services carry only the permissions they need (the email key, for example, can only send messages).
- The site loads no third-party scripts, advertising or tracking tools.
- The form rejects submissions from other sites and limits mass submissions.
No measure is infallible. If an incident affected your data, we would report it to Peru's National Personal Data Protection Authority and, where appropriate, to you, within the periods the law sets.
Your rights and how to exercise them
At any time, and free of charge, you can:
- Be informed and access: know whether we process your data, which data, why, and who we share it with.
- Rectify or update data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your data when it is no longer needed or you withdraw your consent.
- Object to a specific use on legitimate grounds.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw your consent, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
Email info@videoscopiaindustrial.com with the subject "Exercise of ARCO rights", stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and, if you have it, your request's reference number (it starts with "KV-"). Attach a copy of your identity document — or, if acting for someone else, proof of representation — so we can confirm the request is yours. You can also submit it in writing at our registered address, Calle José María Sert 159, Of. 201, San Borja, Lima, Perú, by prior arrangement by email.
We reply within the periods set by the Regulation: 20 working days for access requests and 10 working days for the other rights.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with Peru's National Personal Data Protection Authority (Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales), part of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (www.gob.pe/minjus).
Minors
This site is aimed at industrial companies and professionals. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are between 14 and 18, you need your parent's or guardian's permission before sending us your data; under-14s should not send it. If we find we have received a minor's data without that permission, we will delete it.
Links to other services
Some links on the site open third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps or the websites of the manufacturers we represent. When you use them, those services process your data under their own privacy policies, which we recommend you read.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the site does with your data, we will update this policy and the date at the top. If the change requires new consent, we will ask for it before applying it.
